The HTC Vive Pro features a pair of 1440 x 1600 AMOLED displays with a 615 PPI pixel density. Gasinski says, “We’ve been working very closely with both Valve and HTC to make sure Vive Pro is supported in SteamVR runtime on MacOS.” MacOS Mojave is slated to launch soon in public beta and roll out widely later this year. At the event, Karol Gasinski of Apple's GPU Software Architecture Team said that the VR headset is getting “plug and play support” on MacOS 10.14 Mojave. While announcing the new macOS Mojave, the company revealed that the HTC Vive Pro will get full support on the new OS, which was first spotted by Road to VR. Apple announced a slew of new software upgrades and features at its WWDC 2018 event.
